Stephanie See

    Hello, my name is Stephanie See, and I am a graduate of the final year of NAIT’s Digital Media Design program. My specialties are Graphic and Web Design, though I also do digital photography, and have experience in video.

    I love a challenge, such as designing in different styles and color palets rather than a standard business blue, and have even taken courses to gain a basic understanding of php/MySQL, drupal, and jquery.

Video Experience

Though I did not ultimately end up taking video as my major, I had taken many digital video classes during my first year. I have learned the basics of Final Cut Pro, and gained some experience as a script supervisor for the program, UpStart, as well as for Big Rock Commercials created for the competition. I also line-produced one of the commercials, and have taken the IATSI Set Etiquette course.

Graphics

During my time at NAIT I have primarily persued graphic design. Throughout the two years I have gained experience with the Adobe Design Suite, including the programs Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.

Web Design & Development

Another area of focus during my studies has been web design and development, though I am more of a designer than developer. I have worked with Dreamweaver, Homesite, and Smultron, php/MySql, Drupal, Wordpress, and Jquery, and am fluent in html and css.

Photography

I am proficient at using a DSLR for both product display images, as well artistic purposes. Since taking a photography class and purchasing my own DSLR, I have enjoyed it both as a hobby, as well as for capturing images to use for graphics and web projects.
